Mati Bangladesh is an organisation that aims to unite all human forces in the universal fight against extreme poverty. Matibangladesh fight towards a life in dignity for all human beings, regardless of gender, status, ethnicity or beliefs. Mati was founded in 1998 by Lenen Rahaman, who was convinced that extreme poverty in rural Bangladesh (and all over the world) was a profound injustice and that it could not be tolerated in a so-called civilized society.
